THE Adamawa State Authorities has proposed N55.5bn as supplementary price range for the 2024 monetary yr.
The State Commissioner for Data and Technique, Neido Kofulto, mentioned this whereas briefing newsmen in Yola on Tuesday night, the Information Company of Nigeria stories.
She mentioned the supplementary price range was a part of the agenda of the emergency government council assembly presided over by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta.
In line with her, the supplementary price range was necessitated by the necessity to seize and finance initiatives that weren’t initially captured in the principle price range.
“The council decision on the supplementary estimate will quickly be introduced to the State Home of Meeting for ratification and approval,” she mentioned.
The Commissioner for Finances and Planning, Mr Emmanuel Piridimso, mentioned the supplementary price range was initiated to finance further initiatives, because the state funds had moderately elevated.
In line with him, the ministries captured within the supplementary price range have been Schooling, Ladies’s Affairs, Commerce and Industries and Works and Vitality Improvement, amongst others.
